| Description: |
The City of Kitchener (City) intends to address the highest priority creek erosion sites identified through the Integrated Stormwater Master Plan (ISWM-MP). The erosion sites may need to be addressed through erosion mitigation techniques, channel restoration, minor realignment, stabilizing road embankments, and bank treatment. The project aims to enhance, rehabilitate, or restore the stream systems and increase the SWM opportunities by reducing the risks posed to SWM infrastructure while integrating other city projects and opportunities. The successful Respondent is expected to provide professional engineering services for all permit applications, coordination with related agencies, detailed design, development of a Request For Quotation (RFQ) package, contract administration during construction and the warranty period, and monitoring services related to the implementation of these projects. These projects will be funded in part by the Government of Canada through the Disaster Mitigation and Adaptation Fund (DMAF). |
