Effective Wednesday March 18th, 2020, all City of Kitchener facilities are closed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  These closures are currently in effect until June 15, 2020. 

Procurement Projects (Bids) On the Street

It is business as usual.

Calls for bids will continue to be posted.

Bidders are encouraged to continue to interact via email, phone and electronic submissions.

If there are any concerns with current procurements, bidders can raise it directly to the Procurement Specialist via the “Submit a Question” button on the bids and tenders website for the specific project.

Bids in Contract and Pending Award

Procurement Specialists are working remotely and can be reached via email or phone.

Project Leads are working remotely and can be reached via email or phone.


For contractors/vendors who are not setup for electronic funds transfer (EFT), please complete the form at www.kitchener.ca/EFT and e-mail the completed form to EFT@kitchener.ca. Please include a “void” cheque sample or a letter from your bank confirming your account information.

Submission of proper invoices (construction) via email to the Project Lead and the City’s Consultant will be maintained.

Submission of all other invoices that are normally submitted via regular mail, should be submitted electronically to AccountsPayable@kitchener.ca

This site allows potential Bidders to create a Bidding System Vendor account.  Bidders select commodity codes for goods and services and the Bidding System will notify the Vendor by email of Bid opportunities matching their commodity code selection.
