The work involved in this contract includes the clearing of existing trees for the future stream restoration and trail works proposed as part of the Idlewood Creek Restoration Project.  All tree removals are to be stockpiled on site, in the location as shown on contract drawings, and to be used as  bio-engineering material for future stream construction works.  The work will take place in several locations, as identified on the contract drawings, throughout the general project area  which extends along Idlewood Creek from the south-east side of the Fairway Road and Lackner Boulevard intersection to the end of Woolner Trail where the creek outlets into the Grand River.
