This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective Contractors to submit non-binding quotations for General Contractor - Kitchener Public Library South West Branch, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

The City of Kitchener and The Kitchener Public Library (KPL) are looking to partner with a Contractor for the construction of new library building and site improvements located at the north-west of the intersection of Rosenberg Way and Abrams Clemens Street, Kitchener, Ontario.

The successful contractor will be required to sign a CCDC 2 - 2020 agreement with the City’s Supplementary General Conditions at time of award.

Only pre-qualified contractors through project RFSQ23-043 Prequalification General Contractor - Kitchener Public Library South West Branch process will be invited to submit on this quotation.

The City will only consider quotations received from Contractors who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFQ directly from the Bids and Tenders website at https://kitchener.bidsandtenders.ca (the “Bidding System”).

Bid Document Access:  Bid document preview, bid opportunity, and award notices are available on the site free of charge. Suppliers are not required to register for a bid opportunity prior to previewing unsecured bid documents. Please note, some documents may be secured and you will be required to register for the bid to download and view the documents. To obtain an unsecured version of the bid document and/or to participate in this opportunity, an annual or a per bid fee must be paid (annual fee - $461.90, per bid fee - $138.64).
