Description: 

The City requires a Certified Engineering Consultant to be retained on an On-Call basis to:

  • ·  Complete material testing on road reconstruction projects and road resurfacing projects.
  • ·  Conduct appropriate material testing and compaction on various materials such as asphalt, concrete, aggregates, 
  •    pipe bedding, sub-base road material and granular road base.
  • ·  Provide qualified and competent Field Technicians on a stand-by basis (Field Technicians must be qualified to 
  •    take required field samples and compaction tests on various materials).
  • ·  Oversee and provide field assessments and provide technical information and recommendations of site 
  •    specific geotechnical issues during construction as they may arise.
