This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for GPS Equipment as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The City’s Utilities Engineering group typically runs 4 contractor crews for gas main & service installation & replacement projects during the construction season. The inspector with each crew uses a GPS unit to record the location of new gas infrastructure and this information is used to create as-bult drawings. The 4 existing GPS units (Geo7) are at the end of life and must be replaced. |
