| Description: |
This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Professional Services – Huron Natural Area Management Plan, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The City of Kitchener invites respondents to submit quotations for services of a qualified consulting team to develop a detailed management plan for Huron Natural Area. The purpose of the management plan is to collect new information on select indicators, compare historical records, identify opportunities for engagement, and assist in determining appropriate restoration and management actions. The management plan is to be developed in consultation with the Urban Indigenous Communities, and with Indigenous perspectives and Traditional Ecological Knowledge embedded within the strategies being proposed. It is the City’s intention that a two eyed seeing approach will create the foundation for current and future natural area management plans, as a commitment to support the rights and interests of Indigenous groups. The City will only consider quotations received from respondents who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFQ directly from the Bids and Tenders website at https://kitchener.bidsandtenders.ca (the “Bidding System”). |
