This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective Respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Professional Services - Victoria Park Master Plan – Engagement & Facilitation as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

The City of Kitchener is in the process of developing the Victoria Park Master Plan, which is an update to the Victoria Park 2014-2021 Strategic Plan. Through this update staff will be aiming to re-assess both public and corporate priorities within the park, highlight current and future challenges and opportunities, and plan for the long-term support of infrastructure within this park space. 

The Victoria Park Master Plan consists of three main phases:

Phase 1:  Inventory, Data Collection & Analysis (2023/2024)

Phase 2:  Engage & Envisioning (2024/2025)

Phase 3:  Masterplan Development (2025)

The City would like to work closely with a Respondents on Phase 2 (Engage & Envisioning) to review and implement an engagement plan with key participant groups.  Staff want to understand current & future use of this signature park space from the user perspective, and how we can improve the experience for all through recommendations implemented via. the Master Plan update.

The City will only consider quotations received from Respondents who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFQ directly from the Bids and Tenders website at https://kitchener.bidsandtenders.ca (the “Bidding System”).
