This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Trunk Sewer Inspections, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

The City of Kitchener invites qualified proponents to submit proposals for condition inspection services for our extensive trunk sanitary sewer network. This multi-year program aims to inspect approximately ten (10) kilometers of sewers annually to assess the condition of the entire network. The project includes the development of a work plan to prioritize inspections, which may involve the use of advanced technologies and methods to address unique challenges within the system.

Proposals must outline a clear methodology for prioritizing inspections and managing complexities including the provision of recommended remedial actions, cost estimates, and a robust quality control process, all in accordance with the specifications outlined in this RFP. 

The City will only consider proposals received from proponents who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFP directly from the Bids and Tenders website at https://kitchener.bidsandtenders.ca (the “Bidding System”).
