This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”), to prospective proponents.

The City is seeking a high-quality food service business and/or live music and entertainment venue from an experienced and qualified operator, for this strategic lease opportunity of the Victoria Park Boathouse, located in the city’s heritage park at 57 Jubilee Drive, Kitchener, ON,  and as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

To be considered for this opportunity, Proponents must meet or exceed the following mandatory technical requirements:

Five (5) years of combined food service and/or entertainment experience;

A minimum of $300,000, of working capital and three (3) Year Proforma financial statement; and

A minimum proposed base lease rate of $18.00 per square foot.

Proponents not meeting these mandatory requirements will not be considered for future stages of evaluation.
