The work involved in this contract is for improvements to an existing parking facility servicing Woodside Park artificial turf sports fields. Improvements include creating a new one-way out exit point, re-painting the parking lot to angled, one-way parking, pedestrian paving and new exit gate. Woodside Park is located at 30 Highland Rd. E. / 49 Woodside Ave. The park shares a vehicular entry with Harry Class Pool (20 Highland Rd. E.) A brief summary of the scope of work is as follows: a) Demolition, Removals and Excavation – full site preparation including demolition and removal of existing asphalt paving, fence and fence post footings, topsoil, subgrade and three (3) existing caliper trees b) Asphalt Sealant and Painting – supply and installation of asphalt slurry sealant, relocation of existing pre-cast parking curbs and re-painting parking lot c) Asphalt and Concrete Paving – supply and installation of rigid pavement including asphalt, concrete, heavy duty concrete. d) Gates and Fencing – fabrication and installation of one (1) rolling gate in one (1) location, including 2.4m height support fencing e) Restoration – Topsoil and sod areas re-graded or otherwise damaged by work within this contract |
