This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Wireless Device Services and Hardware, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The City, on behalf of the Grand River Cooperative Purchasing Group (the “GRCPG”), invites qualified suppliers to respond to this proposal for Wireless Device Services and Hardware to the satisfaction of the City, and the City of Waterloo (the “Participating Agency”) in accordance with the terms and specifications as outlined herein. It is understood that in responding to this proposal, the successful proponent agrees to buy out all existing contracts from the current provider. The current carrier used by the City and the Participating Agency is Bell Canada. The approximate buyout prices of the existing contracts are: City of Kitchener: $55,840.00 City of Waterloo: $9,000.00 All clients must be transferred to the new provider’s network within ninety (90) days of contract award, and the device phone numbers must be transferable (ported out) rather than being canceled. |
