This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Professional Services – Kitchener Operations (KOF) Waste Management Facility, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

The City is looking to partner with a qualified Prime Consultant to lead the transformation of the site into a compliant Waste Transfer Facility for municipally generated excess soils, aligning with Ontario's Excess Soils legislation and the Ontario Water Resources Act at the Kitchener Operations Facility (KOF), located at 131 Goodrich St. The successful respondent is expected to evaluate existing conditions and provide suitable bid and construction documents to facilitate the renovation of the rear yard in accordance with the design approved through the Site Plan Approval process and the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) for the KOF Waste Transfer Facility. 

The City will only consider quotations received from respondents who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFQ directly from the Bids and Tenders website at https://kitchener.bidsandtenders.ca (the “Bidding System”).
