This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Professional Services - Ottawa Street Trunk Sanitary Sewer Condition Survey and Recommend Solution, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The City of Kitchener intends to assess the condition of the Ottawa Street Trunk Sanitary Sewer from Old Chicopee Drive to Montgomery Road to establish rehabilitation needs and methods. The Respondent is expected to complete the assessment of the existing sanitary sewers and recommend alternative solutions. Assessment and recommendations must be completed in accordance with the Region of Waterloo’s Design Guidelines and Supplemental Specifications for Municipal Services (DGSSMS) – most recent version, and the City of Kitchener Subdivision Manual, along with any other relevant City and industry standards (CKSS, OPS etc.), community plans which are outlined in Appendix E, and recent best practices on existing pipeline assessments and rehabilitation of the existing sewers in the context of trenchless technologies. |
