The City of Kitchener intends to install a new 200mm diameter sanitary sewer from the existing sanitary manhole at Ira Needles Boulevard, Regional Road 70 (SAN 2000228), west along Highland Road West, Regional Road 6, to the intersection of Glasgow Street. The sanitary sewer will drain from west to east and carry future flows from the Employment lands along Glasgow Street. Service connections will only be proposed for the properties on the north side of Highland Road West if those property owners choose so at their cost. The Proponent is expected to complete the pre-design, detailed design, coordinate all related project needs including permits and approvals (including, but not limited to, Hydro One, MECP, Region of Waterloo) and tendering for the proposed works. All design must be completed in accordance with the Region of Waterloo’s Design Guidelines and Supplemental Specifications for Municipal Services (DGSSMS) – most recent version, and the City of Kitchener Development Manual, along with any other relevant City and industry standards. |
