This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Professional Services - Official Plan Growth Scenarios, Intensification, and Infrastructure Technical Background Study, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

The City is seeking to retain a consultant (the “Consultant Team”) to undertake the development of the Strategic Growth Areas and Intensification Areas Study (the “Study”). The purpose of the Study is to review the hierarchy of intensification areas and understand the capacity, trade-offs, economic influences, and policy levers associated with directing growth towards various potential locations for growth and intensification. This Study will involve inputs from both City staff and the Consultant Team to result in creative, flexible, and forward-thinking approaches to accommodating growth.

The City will only consider quotations received from respondents who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFQ directly from the Bids and Tenders website at https://kitchener.bidsandtenders.ca (the “Bidding System”).
