This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the City of Kitchener (the “City”) to prospective contractors to submit quotations for the Demolition of 4 Properties – 405-409 Nyberg St, 124 Ottawa St S, 134 Sydney St S, and 140 Sydney St S, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The City intends to retain a qualified contractor to perform the demolition of the buildings, accessory buildings, and identified site elements on the properties of 405-409 Nyberg St, 124 Ottawa St S, 134 Sydney St S, and 140 Sydney St S. Major components of this work include designated and hazardous substance abatement, complete structure demolition, waste management, and site restoration. The successful contractor will be required to sign a CCDC 2 - 2020 agreement with the City’s Supplementary General Conditions at time of award. Only pre-qualified contractors through project RFSQ24-037 Request for Supplier Qualifications of Demolition Services Roster Contractors process will be invited to submit on this quotation. |
