This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Professional Services for Stormwater Management System Monitoring Program, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The City is looking to evaluate the effects of the urbanization, land use change or development on surface water dynamics, groundwater recharge, water quality, stream geomorphology, ecology, and microclimate. In the City, development overtime time has an impact on a variety of creeks, stormwater ponds, sub watershed, and green infrastructure throughout the City. The successful Consultant will be responsible for development of a workplan, purchasing of equipment for the City (as required), installation of the equipment, sampling, interpretation, translation, and dissemination of the results to produce annual technical memorandums, and recommendations for future monitoring programs and annual reporting. The successful Consultant will assist the City in ensuring compliance for the Consolidated Linear Infrastructure Environmental Compliance Approval (CLI ECA) process as it relates to the monitoring plan, operational and maintenance (O&M) manual, and annual reporting requirements. |
