The Catholic Mausoleum is a heritage designated building that is circa 100 years old and is in the Woodland Cemetery. This project includes repairing the damaged reinforced concrete structure for the floor, the roof, and the roof’s end gable wall, painting the entrance chamber roof soffit, removal and disposal of the existing roofing, supply and install new roofing membrane and prefinished metal cap flashing. It is important that the new cap flashing match the existing to maintain the heritage appearance of the building. It is also important for the contractor to conduct themselves respectfully while on this site due to the ongoing internments and funerals that will be occurring on the surrounding grounds. |
