The successful Contractor shall be prepared to respond and mobilize for regular and emergency callouts, working diligently on the repair until completion.  Regular repair services are to be completed within one month of notification and emergency repair services need to be responded to within 30 minutes of notification and the contractor is to be on-site within 3 hours of notification to start the repair works.  To facilitate this requirement, the successful Contractor will be required to maintain 24/7, 365 days/year contact numbers.  It should be noted the Contractor will be working on emergency repairs outside normal business hours.  Regular repair services also may need to be scheduled afterhours depending on the customer impacts.

It is anticipated that there will be up to 60 valve replacement/repairs per year.  In addition it is anticipated that repairs of hydrants, services, air reliefs, chambers and cut off work may be required.  The majority of planned work will take place between April and November.  The successful contractor will need to allocate 5 working days per month during this time frame to complete the planned work.
