This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective Contractors to submit non-binding quotations for Kitchener Operations Facility Washbay Repairs , as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

Work includes, but is not limited to, removing rust from structural steel, cleaning concrete blocks, and insulated metal panel walls using pressure washing and similar techniques. Surfaces will then be treated with a protective coating. Project also involves installation of new man doors and frames and salvaging and reinstalling existing hardware. Repairs to concrete slabs and reinforcing steel structural components such as columns and wall support channels is also required, as well as cleaning and coating around the perimeter of the inspection pit.  

The City will only consider quotations received from Contractors who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFQ directly from the Bids and Tenders website at https://kitchener.bidsandtenders.ca (the “Bidding System”).
