This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Dell Data Domain Virtual Edition (DDVE) Licenses as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The City of Kitchener has initiated a project to modernize its backup system. The City currently uses Dell Data domain as its primary backup system and long term backups are currently archived on tapes. As a part of this modernization project, the City is planning to eliminate tape drives and store long term backups in Azure Cloud. Vendors are requested to provide pricing for the Dell Data Domain Virtual Edition(DDVE), software-only storage appliance and its associated components as described below. |
