This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Integrated Project Delivery – Fire Station 8 and Housing Development - IPD Project Facilitator, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The City has selected the integrated project delivery (“IPD”) method to design and construct a future mixed-use site in the downtown area which may include both a Fire Station and a Housing Development. The City seeks the services of a IPD Project Facilitator with expertise in the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) methodology and LEAN construction. It is the intent that the IPD Project Facilitator will be an at-risk partner to the project by executing a CCDC-30 2018 with negotiated supplemental conditions with the Prime Contractor, Prime Architect and Owner. |
