| Description: |
The City of Kitchener intends to retain a proponent with expertise in the field of sewage pumping station design, construction, operation and maintenance to complete a sewage pumping station assessment study for all pumping stations within the City of Kitchener. The hiring of proponent services is to be considered as an extension of City staff and as such proponent staff are expected to conduct themselves as representatives of the City. City staff will be part of the project team to provide limited support and guidance to the proponent as required. The team will include representatives from Engineering and Operations. The work generally includes a complete inventory and assessment of all existing pumping stations. The results will form the basis of a capital upgrade program and maintenance program for each station. Data collected through the assessment will be delivered in the UNIFORMAT 2010 standard. |
