Description: 

The following is a general description of the work:


Strasburg Road Extension – Templewood Drive to Future Extension of Robert Ferrie Drive,

extending over an approximate project distance of 1,430 metres.


The work includes the new construction of roadway, curb and gutter, sidewalks, multi-use path,

storm sewers and outlets including treatment, a 900mm dia. sanitary sewer, and a 600mm dia.

watermain. Works also include tie-in to the existing Rockcliffe Drive and a 300mm dia. watermain

connection between Rush Meadow Street and Templewood Drive.


Structural work includes new headwall and wingwalls at the existing culvert at Strasburg Creek

Main Branch, two span bridge over Strasburg Creek South Branch, wildlife passage/relief culvert,

toe walls and a noise barrier wall.
