This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the City of Kitchener (the “City”) to prospective respondents to submit quotations for Professional Services - Polyethylene Pipe, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

Kitchener Utilities (KU) requires the services of a polyethylene (PE) specialist that would provide guidance and write/review documentation relating to KU’s PE fusion procedures (including the design and testing for qualifying new, or existing, fusion procedures, per the applicable CSA code), material selection, maintenance practices, and existing PE asset management (i.e., providing support/rationale for replacement decisions based on age, material type, etc.).
