The
Waterloo Region Municipalities Insurance Pool (“The Pool”) is currently using
an in-house system on an Oracle database which can be extracted to Excel for
the purposes of data transfer. We currently have 36,260 claims in our system
(active and inactive). We are seeking to purchase and implement an integrated
cloud-based Risk Management Information System (RMIS) from a reputable software
vendor, that will centralize claim data with the functionality to input data,
store, retrieve, and search claim information and to perform other necessary
functions related to trend analysis, form/template documents, financial data,
incident reporting and insurance certificate management in a single platform.
This RMIS will be accessed by subscribing municipalities (8 in total), and will
be required to interface with their systems to allow functionality within the
existing framework. We will require data from our current system be migrated to
our chosen solution. The selected Proponent will provide a solution to The Pool, and execute the transition from the present structure to the new RMIS. Ongoing technical support will also form a part of this commitment. |
