The work required under this contract consists of constructing various forms of traffic calming measures on predetermined City Streets. Also included in this contract will be relocation of manholes/catchbasins, installation of catchbasin inlets, and any miscellaneous or other such ancillary work directed by the Director of Transportation Services or their designate or City Representative. This contract is a unit price contract for the current construction season only. The successful bidder will be required to start the various works at times convenient to the City of Kitchener. The Corporation accepts no responsibility for providing a continuous work program. Works not completed at the end of the current construction season will not be carried over to the following season under this contract. |
