| Description: |
The following is a general but not necessarily complete description of the scope of work to be resurfaced. The work required under this contract consists of the application of emulsified asphalt Type II slurry seal resurfacing material on various City streets and such other ancillary work as may be directed by the Engineer. This contract is a unit price contract for the current construction season only. The successful bidder will be required to start the various works at times convenient to the Corporation. The Corporation accepts no responsibility for providing a continuous work program. Works not completed at the end of the current construction season will not be carried over to the following season under this contract. All sections of the work shall proceed simultaneously where possible in order to shorten the time of completion. The sequence of the work shall be subject to the approval of the Engineer or City representative. |
