This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Kitchener Parks Data Collection, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

City of Kitchener staff are currently developing a Management plan for Victoria Park that will involve strategic planning & direction, spatial analysis, engagement, capital project prioritizations, and budget review.  To assist in these initiatives, staff are interested in deploying a solution in Victoria Park which would capture accurate data on park usage, including number of pedestrians, cyclists, strollers, dogs etc. at major entrances into the park space, as well as pedestrian traffic at frequently used amenities, and communal spaces.  Staff would like to have a clear picture of where, when, and how residents are using the park space to help guide our long-term vision for the management of the park.
