The City is looking to partner with a qualified Contractor to perform the scope of work, which involves improving trail entrances to ensure proper access. This includes installing concrete aprons and tactile warning plates to enhance accessibility for maintenance vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians. Additionally, the project includes installing trail counters, constructing curbs, upgrading PXOs (Pedestrian Crossover) systems, installing catch-basins and leads, building concrete cushions and islands, marking pavements, and installing bike racks.

Additionally, an existing staircase linking Bankside Drive and Highland Road West is to be removed and reconstructed with concrete featuring railings and a designated bike channel.
