This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for RBJ Schlegel Park, Surplus Fill Relocation and Site Restoration as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The work involved in this contract aims to remove surplus subsoil from RBJ Schlegel Park, and restore the former stockpile area using stockpiled topsoil. All soils were generated surplus from the original earthworks development in 2017, with additions and removals from each pile as needed in the subsequent development phases in 2018 and 2021. Necessary testing and profiling of the excess soil has been completed under O.Reg 406/19 and is provided as appendices within this RFQ. The City will only consider quotations received from respondents who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFQ directly from the Bids and Tenders website at https://kitchener.bidsandtenders.ca (the “Bidding System”). |
