This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Road Condition Inspection & Pavement Management System Update, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). This is a co-operative procurement that is led by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener and the participating agency is the Corporation of the City of Waterloo. The City of Kitchener & the City of Waterloo requires road condition data to be collected in order to maintain their respective pavement management systems. As pavement condition data plays an important role for city-wide infrastructure analysis and planning, it is required that data is routinely updated and integrated into the system. Currently, both Cities are using RoadMatrix as their pavement management software. The most recent road inspections were completed in 2020 (City of Kitchener) and 2019 (City of Waterloo). Data to be collected for this contract includes surface distress and roughness. |
