The following is a general but not necessarily complete description of the scope of works to be constructed. The work required under this contract consists generally of using various types of road rehabilitation on predetermined city streets. This contract will also include the paving of surface asphalt on newly constructed streets coming off of the City’s 2-Year warranty. Also included in this contract will be Community trail remediation, parking lot remediation, traffic calming installation, various utility cuts, and any miscellaneous or other such ancillary work directed by the Engineer or City Representative. This contract is a unit price contract for the current construction season only. The successful bidder will be required to start the various works at times convenient to the Corporation. The Corporation accepts no responsibility for providing a continuous work program. Works not completed at the end of the current construction season will not be carried over to the following season under this contract. |
