This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (“the City”) to prospective Contractors to submit non-binding quotations for Trail Improvements, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The City is looking to partner with a qualified contractor for the enhancement of City Trails at various locations. The work includes the removal of stonedust granular or asphalt and replacing with 3 metre wide asphalt on trails. Enhancing trail entrances with proper access which include concrete aprons, tactile warning plates. Removal of concrete walkways and upgrading with 3 metre wide asphalt trails. This work also included new concrete ramps to improve trails access for maintenance vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians. The City will only consider quotations received from Contractors who have registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFQ directly from the Bids and Tenders website at https://kitchener.bidsandtenders.ca (the “Bidding System”). |
