Existing twin steel elliptical culverts located on Forwell Road providing a crossing over Kolb Creek are undersized and in a state of disrepair.  These culverts are located below a sanitary sewer and over a watermain; both of these services will need to be maintained during construction. The following is a general description of the work:

The work includes the removal, disposal and replacement of an existing twin steel elliptical culvert crossing with a twin cell rectangular precast box structure, the lowering of an existing 300mm diameter ductile iron watermain including installation of new appurtenances (two isolation valves and a new steel casing), and, the removal and replacement of an existing 450mm diameter sanitary sewer. The works include all efforts required for creek bypass and dewatering. The work also includes sediment and erosion control measures before, during and after construction and restoration of all disturbed areas. Additionally, the work will include the replacement of the gravel roadway with asphalt. 

The Working Day Allowance allotted for completion of the project in its entirety is set at thirty (30) working days.
