| Description: |
In accordance with the City of Kitchener’s (City) Official Plan and Transportation Master Plan, the City requires Consulting Engineering Services to complete a Schedule “C” Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) and preliminary design for the extension of Biehn Drive from its current terminus, approximately 60 metres west of Spencer Court, southerly to the future Robert Ferrie Drive Extension. The Biehn Drive extension will include a trunk sanitary sewer, storm sewers and watermain. The trunk sanitary sewer may not necessarily follow the alignment of the Biehn Drive due to factors not known at this time. All preliminary design must be completed in accordance with the Region of Waterloo’s Design Guidelines and Supplemental Specifications for Municipal Services (DGSSMS) – most recent version, and the City of Kitchener Development Manual, along with any other relevant City and industry standards (CKSS, OPS etc.), and community plans. |
